Firefox 3.1.13 Update Available

Keeping up with browser updates is practically a full-time job!

Just like promised Mozilla has delivered an update to the stable branch of the Firefox web browser. The update, which is released on the same day as the Mozilla Thunderbird update, fixes several security and stability issues in the web browser, making it a recommended update for all Firefox 3.6.12 and earlier users. Firefox 3.6.13 is currently in distribution to wordlwide mirror servers to ensure that updating Firefox users will not experience lags or slowdowns during the rush once the update has been announced officially.
The official update notification can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, it is hard to say at this point.

The beta release notes list the major issues that have been fixed:

Firefox 3.6.13 fixes the following issues found in previous versions of Firefox 3.6:

Fixed several security issues.
Fixed several stability issues.

Bugzilla goes into more detail by listing all bugs that have been fixed in Firefox 3.6.13. A total of 67 bugs have been fixed in the update including 21 critical and one blocker bug. Interested users can visit Bugzilla to access the list. Firefox users who do not want to wait can try some of the official community mirror servers to download the release immediately.
