When you connect two or more computer systems to a local network you need to make sure to assign unique local IP addresses to all computer systems to avoid conflicts. Conflicts may happen for a number of reasons, from assigning the same IP address manually to DHCP server issues. Conflicts may cause connectivity and functionality issues on affected computer systems.
