The task of managing user accounts at multiple terminal switch units can often be challenging. Since the principle function of a terminal switch is to provide access to console port command functions on remote network elements, there are always many different types of users who need access to the terminal switch. This means that network administrators are frequently faced with chore of adding or removing users from numerous different terminal switch units, scattered across their networks.

Device Management Utility – Manage Multiple WTI Devices from a Single Interface

The Device Management Utility, or DMU (http://www.wti.com/t-dmu-device-management-utility-for-wti-products.aspx) is a convenient, multi-unit management application that allows you to view unit status, access command mode functions and manage users accounts for multiple WTI products from a single user interface. When the DMU is used with our switched PDU products, it can also control power switching functions and display power consumption data for multiple units.
