How to Analyze Networking Data with Firefox

Here’s a nice overview of some very useful network analysis tools that you probably already have … but might not be aware of.

A lot happens when you open a website in the Firefox web browser. While you see the result of that action in the browser UI, you do not really get to see what is happening in the background. You can install extensions such as NoScript that provide you with some information, especially related to third-party requests, but if you want to get the full picture, you need to turn elsewhere. Firefox ships with powerful networking tools that you can activate or load for that purpose. You do not need to install an add-on or program for that, as everything is included with recent versions of the browser by default.
