If you’re unhappy with the standard Chrome history page, then you might want to check this out …

The standard history page of the Google Chrome web browser is a mess. All visited web pages are listed in order of visit, with no options to filter the items by date, name or frequency of visits.

Only the search at the top offers some form of customization, as it can be used to find a specific web page that you have visited in the past.


Pop-up History for Chrome – Display Browsing History in a Popup

One of the things that I like most about Chrome is its speed and simplicity … so I usually think twice before installing any extensions.

What would you say an extension with the name Pop-up History and the description Pop-up a History does? This one had me puzzled for a while. My first thought was that it would display the list of popup windows in the Chrome browser. After installation it became much clearer.


Recent History for Chrome Offers Fast Access to Visited Websites

Here’s another useful Chrome extension … or at least it would be useful for those of us who use a browser’s history function …

The history stores information about previously visited websites. Every web browser offers this feature, and the major difference is the way it can be accessed. Firefox users for instance can display the history in a sidebar. Chrome users by default on the other hand are limited to displaying visited websites in a new tab, which is not the most user friendly way of displaying the information.
