Control Google Chrome with Your Mouse with Smooth Gestures

I don’t quite understand why anybody would want to do this … but here’s how anyway.

Unlike Opera, Google Chrome does not support mouse gestures by default. This input method is probably not at the top of Google’s priority. Chrome users who would like to add mouse gestures to their browser can do so by installing an extension like Smooth Gestures.

Opera 11 Revamps Address Field, Mouse Gestures Facelift, Adds Extension Options

Sounds like the Opera engineers have been very busy …

The Opera desktop team has added several improvements to the latest public snapshot of the upcoming Opera 11 web browser. Opera users who have tested previous snapshots will most likely notice the new address field first. Opera 11 displays information about a website in a block in front of the website address.
