Opera Featherweight Introduces Interface Changes

I haven’t really tried Opera yet, but this light weight interface does sound kind of interesting …

Every browser developer seems to be inclined these days to streamline and at the same time minimize the user interface. We have seen it with Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer, and now it is Opera’s turn do propose the same. Currently available as an Opera Next snapshot only but soon making its way to stable Opera builds.


Opera Speed Dial Improvements

Here’s an interesting update for the Opera browser …

The latest Opera 11.10 alpha snapshot which got released yesterday contains changes to Opera’s speed dial feature, among other improvements. Speed Dial was first introduced in 2007 by Opera and has since found its way into other web browsers either as a built-in feature or extensions as well.
