How to Share an Optical Drive in a Local Network

In most cases, this trick would generally be more useful in home applications rather than business applications, but it’s still a handy trick none the less.

Most desktop PCs ship with an optical drive, usually either a DVD drive or a Blu-Ray drive while mobile PCs may not always ship with one. Especially tablets, netbooks and other low cost or small form factor devices do not ship with one usually. If you need to access files stored on a DVD, drivers for example, tools, or media then you have two main options to achieve that.

Bing Updates Facebook Photo Search

The “respect for privacy” claim is certainly reassuring … but it still might not be a bad idea to review your current Facebook privacy settings …

Last year Microsoft’s search engine Bing rolled out its “Friends Photos”, but today the company announced a huge update to the service, which allows users to search photos on Facebook. Before you press the panic button, the company assures us that “Bing respects your Facebook privacy settings. Your Facebook friends will only be able to see the photos you have made viewable and your photos will never be shared with the public”
